Robin Crawford, LMHC, CSAYC
Robin Crawford is currently the Owner and Therapist at Ginger & Iru, LLC. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling degree from Walden University. She also received a Professional Educator's License with a School Counseling concentration from the University of St. Francis. Robin has a record of working many years in the human service field and over 10 years as a counselor. In 2014, Robin became a member of the IN-AJSOP and received a CSAYC and MEGA credentialing. These award certifications qualify her to administer clinical psychosexual risk assessments and work toward advancing the outcomes for youth/families with sexual behavior problems for the State of Indiana.
She is also a Psychology Today member and uniquely trained in diverse fields of counseling. Most recently, she received PESI training and became a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional as well as a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider.
Robin uses Psychoeducation as a simple approach to teach family members problem-solving and communication skills to support prevention of future episodes. She believes in using many tools to help people reach their goals, i.e., CBT, TF-CBT, Acceptance and letting go, motivational interviewing, and other holistic techniques. Robin also believes it is important to give back to the community in other ways - thru SBMHP, volunteering, and providing her faith-based teachings. Since 2015, she has taught over 45 classes while serving as an Adjunct Professor in the psychology department at Indiana Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Robin enjoys people and compassionate with teaching, helping others heal and learn how to see the good in themselves. She visioned this could be done with an affordable cashed-based telehealth therapy treatment service and became the founder of Ginger & Iru.
